Study #3 for Snowy Birch Wood

Still developing some new strategies for landscapes- each time I use a new color palette, it takes a bit of tweaking. Also trying to figure out how to best do the trunks.
In this study the trees have more resonance and definition, and the red-violet works along the horizon- Also I have shadows there underneath the tree trunks, which makes me think that the shadow-less ground of the last study makes it look like it's more in a middle of snow storm, and this looks like the snow has stopped.
