This still life took me three days to complete, but I think I might give it another go in a couple of weeks. When I look at this painting, I think about my first oil painting I did when I was seven years old, a still life of one of my father's plants, and it's amusing how I haven't gotten much better rendering plants. Maybe I should do some still lifes with plants in them, to improve that skill.
